Kam also had a rug she was getting rid of. We needed a new doormat. I painted it brown, cut out the Hi and leaves to make a stencil and sprayed it orange. Yay for a free seasonal mat. :)
This wreath had been long in the making. I tried to make a wreath in the spring out of a pool noodle covered in twigs... it was a fail and had been taking up space in my studio. I finally removed the twigs and covered the noodle in duct tape and then strips of the marigold felt. It finally held its shape the way I wanted. I used strips of felt to make ruffle "flowers" and then spread them on the wreath.
At first I really didn't like it, but then I added some fall leaves/berries/mums that my MIL found and had given me. I am still thinking it needs a bow? But we are looking quite seasonal. :)
